I don’t know what the fuck I was thinking when I thought I liked this band. I liked that one catchy song where they go “Let’s Go” and the song starts and the singer mumbles about being a pseudo-intellectual. I should’ve seen it coming.
First of all, they are the most constipated band since Minor Threat. Two years without an LP and still all the coverage in the...

“T.A. Interview”
Brad Neely is a genius.
The highest watched video of today on Youtube currently has over 620,000 views and is entitled “Joyful Sex With Joint Pain”. I do not have joint pain, so obviously this video is not for me, and probably don’t even want to watch it. However, I feel like I should watch it.
I think this is pretty evident of the whole “me too” internet dynamic.

In fact, learn it so well you can do deep throat and he’ll forget all about your ass. The trick is relaxation, not easy at first, to be sure, when you feel the whole thing is absolutely disgusting, but for your own good, you need to learn to...

dalasverdugo: I’m sure it’s already been said, but If the only thing I could do on the Internet was log on and watch The Big Lebowski, in good, streaming quality, for free, legally.. I would consider that enough of a success. Tears are streaming from my eyes.

gondaba: “Excelsior 1968 is a high school yearbook for the fictional Bristol County Secondary School in the fictional Staedtler, Ontario. Each student here is redrawn (and renamed) from my mother’s actual 1968 high school yearbook.” Brilliant!

Internet Celebrities
unreliablewitness:
I include most internet celebrities in this rant, but not all. There are obviously some exceptions, but the majority of internet celebrities are guilty of the following sins. I hate internet celebrities because they cannot imagine a world without their Macbooks and their wi-fi. They natter away incessantly in their insulated little worlds where everyone drinks soy lattes...

There is a way to sort by artist and then year. Thank God. It just makes so much more sense that way. Now to go through everything and put the years in. sigh.

Is it just me, or are the posts on Tumblr Radar missing links to the original posts? How are users supposed to reblog them. Why is your front page lacking one of the most useful aspects of your service? Way to drop the ball.
Pitchfork TV is up and looks pretty awesome! →
Cool. It appears they have the whole Pixies documentary “Loud Quiet Loud” up there to watch for free. I recommend anyone in a band, or anybody who’s ever tried to be in a band to watch it. It’s a case study on crumbling band dynamics. (via peterberkman)
